Product Description

The 10KW V2L Discharge Device by Tlyard is a high-performance power supply solution specifically designed for Tesla models S, X, 3, and Y. This innovative device enables vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to utilize their car's battery capacity not just for driving but also as a reliable source of electricity for various applications. With multiple output options adhering to the NEMA standard, this discharge device ensures compatibility with a wide range of appliances and tools, making it an essential accessory for outdoor adventures, emergency power needs, or off-grid living.

🔋 Model Compatibility
This discharge device is compatible with electric vehicles that meet the following three essential conditions:

1️⃣ Battery Voltage
The vehicle’s high-voltage battery must be within the 290V – 450V range.

2️⃣ Communication Protocol
The vehicle must support the CCS charging protocol.

3️⃣ Original BMS Support
The vehicle’s original Battery Management System (BMS) must allow discharging (Brands such as BMW have BMS restrictions that prevent discharging—even if voltage and protocol conditions are met, the device will not function).

Product Note: Our discharging gun models are differentiated to optimize vehicle compatibility. Important: If your vehicle's Charging Port and your desired Socket Option are physically identical, purchasing one discharging gun is sufficient. A single purchase covers both needs.

  • High Power Output: Delivers up to 10KW, suitable for demanding electrical applications.
  • Compatible Models: Specifically designed for Tesla Model S, X, 3, and Y, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Note: The 14-50 outlet provides pure 240V (no neutral) and is not compatible with RVs or systems requiring split-phase 120V/240V power.
  • Multiple Output Options
    • 14-50 Output Port: Provides a 240V output (L1-L2, no neutral) for high-power needs. Cannot supply split-phase 120V/240V.
    • 5-20 Output Port: Offers a 120V output, perfect for standard household devices.
    • *Note: 120V and 240V outputs are separate and cannot be used simultaneously in a split-phase configuration.*
  • Vehicle-to-Load Technology: Leverages V2L technology to transform your Tesla into a mobile power station, perfect for camping, work sites, or emergency situations.
  • Compact Design:Dimensions of 320 x 230 x 230 mm make it easy to store and transport.
  • User-Friendly Interface:Easy-to-use controls for quick setup and operation.
  • Lightweight and Portable: Gross weight of 11 Kg allows for effortless handling and mobility.
  • Eco-Friendly Solution: By utilizing your Tesla’s battery for power needs, this device promotes sustainable energy use and reduces reliance on traditional fossil fuel generators.

Noted: This product requires CCS (Combined Charging System) compatibility in your vehicle to function properly.

How to Check if a Vehicle is Equipped with CCS?

1.European Standard CCS2 Interface Models:

All factory-produced vehicles come with CCS functionality by default. No verification is needed.

2.North American Standard NACS Interface Models (2022.01+):

All factory-produced vehicles include CCS functionality. No verification is required.

3.North American Standard NACS Interface Models (Before 2022.01):

  • These vehicles do not come with CCS functionality from the factory.
  • However, a small number of customers may have installed it as an aftermarket upgrade.
  • Verification is required since not all vehicles have this feature.
  • (For verification steps, please refer to the video guide.)

Q: Why does the device stop running after the recent Tesla software update (v2026.x)?
A: Tesla vehicles with software versions starting with 2026 (e.g., v2026.8.3.6) feature upgraded power management. The vehicle now detects "simulated charging" when there is no actual power consumption, which may cause the system to automatically cut off the power link.

Q: How can I resolve this issue and keep the device running continuously?
A: Our discharge device is set to Mode 1 by default. If your vehicle has updated to the 2026 software version, you can keep it running continuously using one of the following two solutions:

  • Option 1 (Stay in Default Mode 1): Keep the device in Mode 1, and turn on Tesla's Camp Mode. To minimize energy consumption, turn off Auto, turn off the AC, and set the fan speed to the lowest setting.

  • Option 2 (Switch to Mode 2): Simply switch the device from the default mode to Mode 2. This will trigger the vehicle's battery heating function, allowing the system to run uninterrupted for a long time.
