First, I love the look and operation of these new pedal sills. However, your install instructions/video are horrendous and must be fixed.
1. The written instructions are worthless, only serving to confuse; remove them.
2. The video for installation is wholly inadequate and incomplete.
3. You must include in the video how to test the sills with the magnets. I moved the round placement marker because the first one I tried had a weak magnet that wasn't working. When I moved the placement marker, it worked. Then, I realized I needed the placement marker in that position to do the installation correctly. So, I checked with a different magnet, and it worked correctly. It would be simple to put this in the install video and talk about common issues and how to check them.
4. There is one sentence WAY at the bottom of this webpage about leaving the original front pedal sills in place. I began removing the driver's side pedal sill when I realized that the ones you sent worked by going over them. Seriously!?! PUT THIS IN THE VIDEO. You only show a rear installation. I don't need 45 seconds of stupid, flashy video showing the pedal sills installed.
5. The install video never mentions that the clear plastic circles are supposed to go over the installed magnets on the doors to keep them in place. REALLY!?! I figured that out on my own.
BL: Great product, ridiculously lame and dumb install video/paper instructions. FIX IT!
Hopefully, this review will help others not endure the same stupidity.
Easy to install, free of wiring, magnetic induction, especially stylish and beautiful, does not hurt the car
I need to say it's the top 3 best Tesla accessories I ever bought. The effect is stunning with the puddle lights together. I bought the carbon fiber color and it's cool, they came with batteries you can finish the installation by yourself. Love it!
It sticks perfectly and works well, very good product at this price.
I like this product. Not only can protect my door sill but also a nice decor for my model 3.
